Some say the name of God doesn’t change.

Why, then, did Jehovah’s name become Jesus?

It was prophesied the Messiah would come,

so why then did a man named Jesus come?

Why did the name of God change?

Wasn’t such work carried out long ago?

May God not do newer work today?

Yesterday’s work can be altered;

Jesus’ work can follow on from that of Jehovah.

Cannot, then, Jesus’ work be succeeded by other work?

If the name of Jehovah can be changed to Jesus,

can’t Jesus’ name also be changed?

None of this is odd;

it’s just that people are too simple-minded.

God will always be God.

No matter how His work and name change,

His disposition and wisdom will never change.

If you believe that God can only be called by the name of Jesus,

then your knowledge is far too limited.

Do you dare assert that Jesus will forever

be the name of God,

that God will always go by the name of Jesus,

and that this will never change?

Dare you assert Jesus’ name concluded the Age of Law

and will also conclude the final age?

Who can say the grace of Jesus

can bring the age to an end?

God will always be God.

No matter how His work and name change,

His disposition and wisdom will never change.
