Almighty God has appeared and is working in the last days, expressing over ten million words. Many people, after reading the words of Almighty God, feel that these words have authority and power and are the truth, and have accepted Almighty God’s work of the last days. Some Catholic believers also acknowledge that the words of Almighty God are the truth. However, they believe that in believing in God, they must respect the tradition and history of Catholicism, and that since they have joined Catholicism, they cannot convert to other denominations They think that believing in Almighty God is betraying Catholicism and betraying God, and that it is a sin. Therefore, they dare not accept Almighty God’s work of the last days. So, is believing in Almighty God actually betraying the Lord Jesus? When it comes to this question the first thing we must understand is whether, as a Catholic, you believe in God or in Catholicism. If you believe in God, you should not be constrained by Catholicism. Also, are Catholicism’s rules and sayings stipulated by God or by man? Do they come from God or from man? We must clarify these things. In believing in God, you must know that God is the truth; Catholicism is not the truth, those Catholic bishops and priests are also not the truth, and Catholicism does not represent God. If you believe in God, you should not be constrained by Catholicism, much less by bishops and priests. If you are constantly being constrained by them, then you will not gain God’s approval. In particular, when it comes to welcoming the Lord’s coming, can you still welcome God if you are always constrained by bishops and priests? We are created beings, and it is right for us to abide by the Creator’s words. Is it not foolish to always abide by the words of man and denominational rules? You must have discernment regarding these things. If it is God’s command, then we must abide by it. But if it is a Catholic rule, then we do not have to abide by it; it is enough to just abide by God’s words. You think that people have to abide by Catholic rules and that failing to do so is a sin. What is this based on? Has God ever said such a thing? Never. This proves that these rules do not come from God, but were made by those bishops and priests of Catholicism. Bishops and priests do not represent God, so the regulations and sayings they have come up with do not represent God either. In that case, is it still necessary for us to abide by those regulations? Can you gain God’s approval by abiding by regulations made by man? In addition, you must also discern: Are those Catholic bishops and priests people whom God loves? Are they chosen by God? Are they people God testifies to? Absolutely not. Many among them have even committed a great deal of evil, and Catholics are well aware of this. Catholicism has long since been without the work of the Holy Spirit. Can you still not see these things clearly? If you truly cannot see these things clearly, then you are far too muddled! You have no discernment at all.

Back when the Lord Jesus had appeared and was working, the chief priests, scribes, and Pharisees of the religious world, as well as those in power, all resisted and condemned the Lord Jesus. They also spread baseless rumors saying that the Lord Jesus was just an ordinary person and not God. Many religious people were misled. They dared not investigate the Lord Jesus’ work, and as a result, they did not gain the Lord’s salvation. Now we are in the last days. If we believe in God but cannot welcome Him, what will the consequences be? We will fall into disasters, be punished, and die! Therefore, the principle we should follow in believing in God is to only listen to God’s words and not the words of man. No person’s words are the truth; only God’s words are the truth. If people do not submit to God’s words, they are rebelling against and resisting God. If you always cling to Catholic rules and regulations and do not listen to God’s words, what consequences will that bring you? You should be clear on this matter. If you discover that the words of Almighty God are all truth and that Almighty God is God returned, but you dare not accept Him because you are afraid of violating Catholic rules, then you have become a foolish virgin, and you can only fall into the disasters and wail and gnash your teeth. Catholicism resists and condemns Almighty God—Christ of the last days, so you should rebel against Catholicism, break away from it, and no longer be bound by it. Only then are you a wise virgin, able to welcome God and attend the feast of the kingdom of heaven. If you are always afraid of offending Catholicism and afraid of being expelled by Catholicism, this proves that you believe in Catholicism and not in God. Can Catholicism lead you to welcome God? Can it save you and bring you into the kingdom of heaven? Can it bestow the truth and life upon you? Can it allow you to gain eternal life? Catholicism can do none of these things, and it can bestow nothing upon you. Those Catholic rules can only mislead and harm you, so what is the use of you still abiding by them? If you insist on abiding by Catholic regulations, then you are a foolish virgin.

God has appeared and is working to save man. God requires people to only accept God, to only listen to God’s voice, and not to be constrained by religion. No matter which denomination you are in, as long as you hear God’s voice and welcome the Lord, you should immediately step out of religion. This is the right thing to do. Whatever you do, do not turn back; otherwise, you will turn into a pillar of salt like Lot’s wife. Almighty God says: “Since man believes in God, he must closely follow each of the footsteps of God; he should ‘follow the Lamb wherever He goes.’ Only people who do this are the ones who truly seek the true way, the ones who know the work of the Holy Spirit. People who stubbornly adhere to words and doctrines are those who have been eliminated by the work of the Holy Spirit. In each period of time, God will begin new work, and in each period, there will be a new beginning among man. If man only abides by the truths that ‘Jehovah is God’ and ‘Jesus is Christ,’ which are truths that each only applies to a single age, then man will never keep up with the work of the Holy Spirit, and will forever be incapable of gaining the work of the Holy Spirit. Regardless of how God works, if man follows without the slightest doubt, and follows closely, then how could man be eliminated by the Holy Spirit? Regardless of what God does, as long as man is certain that it is the work of the Holy Spirit, and cooperates with the work of the Holy Spirit without any misgivings, and tries to meet the requirements of God, then how could he be punished? The work of God has never ceased, His footsteps have never halted, and prior to the completion of His management work, He has always been busy, and never stops. But man is different: Having gained but a modicum of the Holy Spirit’s work, he treats it as if it will never change; having gained a little knowledge, he does not go forth to ‘track’ God’s newer work; having seen but a little of God’s work, he immediately delimits God to being a particular wooden figure, and believes that God will always retain this image that he sees, that it was like this in the past and will always be thus in the future; having gained but a smattering of surface-level knowledge, man is so proud that he forgets himself and begins to wantonly proclaim a disposition and a being of God that simply do not exist; and having become certain about one stage of the Holy Spirit’s work, no matter what kind of person it is that proclaims the new work of God, man does not accept it. People like this cannot accept the new work of the Holy Spirit; they are too conservative, and incapable of accepting new things. Such people are those who believe in God but also reject God. Man believes that the Israelites were wrong to ‘only believe in Jehovah and not believe in Jesus,’ yet the majority of people act out a role in which they ‘only believe in Jehovah and reject Jesus’ and ‘long for the return of the Messiah, but oppose the Messiah who is called Jesus.’ No wonder, then, that people still live under the power of Satan after accepting one stage of the work of the Holy Spirit, and still do not receive God’s blessings.
