168  A Choice Without Regret

I

Satan’s arrests and persecution of Christians grow increasingly savage.

The city is full of dark horror, and I flee wherever I can.

For preaching the gospel, I was arrested and imprisoned by the CCP.

I desperately called upon God in prayer.

No matter how cruelly Satan persecutes me,

nothing can shake or change my faith in God.

Almighty God, my heart belongs to You.

Incarceration can only control my body,

but it cannot stop my footsteps in following You.

Painful suffering, a bumpy road,

with the guidance of God’s words, my heart is without fear;

having God’s words with me, my heart is sated.

II

The torment of the satanic devils’ cruel torture grows ever more severe,

assaulting me again and again with searing pain.

At the final moment, when my life is about to be taken,

I entrust my life and death to God, and look to Him.

May God grant me faith to stand firm in testimony.

Never will I be a Judas, a mark of shame on God.

Almighty God, I will be loyal to You unto death.

I will never bow or compromise before the great red dragon!

Satan can only torture and destroy my body,

but it cannot destroy the faith and love I have for God.

Whether I live or die is up to God’s sovereignty and arrangements.

I will give my all to testify to God.

If I can testify to God and bring shames upon Satan, I will die without complaint.

Chorus

To follow Christ and fulfill my duty in this life is my honor.

Following God, I have understood many truths—my life has not been lived in vain.

As long as I am able to testify to God, I would die without regret—this is the choice I will never regret.
