20 The Countenance of the Kingdom’s King Is Glorious Beyond Compare
I
God has a new beginning on earth and He’s gained glory on earth.
Due to the final, beautiful scene,
He can’t help but express the passion in His heart:
“My heart is beating, it is beating;
in sync with the rhythm of My heart, the mountains bound,
leaping for joy in rhythm with My heart.
Waters dance with glee, and waves beat on the rocky reefs.
It’s hard to express what’s in My heart.”
What God planned is what He has already accomplished;
it was predetermined by God,
and it is exactly what God makes people experience and behold.
II
The outlook for the kingdom is wonderful;
victorious is its King,
without having had a trace of flesh or blood
from His head to His feet,
composed only of divine elements.
His whole body glows with sacred glory,
completely untainted by human ideas.
With righteousness His whole body swells,
suffused with the breath of heaven,
and from it flows an inviting scent, fragrant and fresh.
Like the beloved in Song of Songs,
He’s more beautiful than all the saints,
higher than the ancient saints.
For all people He’s the exemplar,
and incomparable to man;
they’re not fit to look on Him.
None can attain God’s glorious countenance,
God’s image or God’s appearance.
