273 The Existence of All Mankind Rests on God

I

God’s final work is not only for the sake of punishing man,

but also for the sake of arranging the destination of man.

Moreover, it is so that all people may acknowledge God’s deeds and actions.

God wants each and every person to see that all He has done is right,

that all He has done is right,

and that all He has done is an expression of His disposition,

all He has done is an expression of His disposition.

It is not man’s doing, not man’s doing,

much less nature, that brought forth mankind,

much less nature, that brought forth mankind,

but God, who nourishes every living being in creation,

but God, who nourishes every living being in creation.

II

Without God’s existence, mankind will only perish

and suffer the scourge of calamity.

No human being will ever again see the beauteous sun and moon,

no human being will ever again see the verdant world;

mankind shall encounter only the frigid night

and the inexorable valley of the shadow of death.

God is mankind’s only salvation. He is mankind’s only hope

and even more, He is the One on whom the existence of all mankind rests.

Without God, mankind will immediately come to a standstill.

Without God, mankind will suffer catastrophe

and be trampled underfoot by all manner of ghosts,

though no one takes heed of God, no one takes heed of God.

God has done work that can be done by no other,

and hopes only that man can repay Him with some good deeds.

God has done work that can be done by no other,

and hopes only that man can repay Him with some good deeds,

and hopes only that man can repay Him with some good deeds.
